Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Oval dome and porch

The dome, its lantern and the small columns of the entrance porch are the finest parts. Print friendly adapts them at small sizes; Full detail keeps them for a larger print or a finer nozzle.

  2. Layers around the dome

The dome and the pediment carry the model's tightest curves. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep those curves and the roofline crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

Sant'Andrea al Quirinale is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Sant'Andrea al Quirinale takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Sant'Andrea al Quirinale

Sant'Andrea al Quirinale is a titular church of the Roman Catholic Church, serving the Jesuit seminary on Rome's Quirinal Hill. Bernini and Giovanni de'Rossi designed it, and it is a notable example of Roman Baroque architecture. The commission came in 1658 and building work was done by 1661; decoration of the interior continued until 1670. It was the third Jesuit church built in Rome, after the Gesù and Sant'Ignazio.

Camillo Francesco Maria Pamphili, a former cardinal, commissioned it with Pope Alexander VII's approval. The Jesuit novitiate it served had been founded in 1566, and an older church from the 16th century, Sant'Andrea a Montecavallo, had stood there. Bernini regarded the result as one of his finest achievements; Domenico, his son, remembered him sitting for hours inside it in old age, enjoying what he had made.

The façade looks onto the Via del Quirinale, but the church sits back from the street, behind low curved walls that enclose the forecourt. A cylinder of oval plan wraps the dome, and big volutes carry the sideways thrust. At the center, a pedimented frame holds a semicircular porch on two Ionic columns, the Pamphili arms above it. Pilasters and entablature shape the oval interior, and hidden lighting picks out the high altar niche below the gilded dome.
