Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Church front detail

The front of the church carries much of its detail, and its fine edges soften on a small print. Full detail and a bigger print keep the facade crisp.

  2. Fine layers for a low church

The building spreads wider than it rises, so it uses little height in the print. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm hold the roofline crisp, and scaling up helps the smallest forms.

  3. One piece with the ground

Santa Cecilia in Trastevere is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Santa Cecilia in Trastevere takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Santa Cecilia in Trastevere

Santa Cecilia in Trastevere is a church of the Trastevere district in Rome, a minor basilica that also serves as a titular church, and it honors Saint Cecilia, patron saint of music. Pope Urban I probably founded a church there in the 3rd century, and tradition holds that the house of the saint once stood beneath it. Inside are an apse mosaic, frescoes by Pietro Cavallini and Baroque sculpture, and beneath the high altar lie the relics of Saint Cecilia.

Pope Paschal I gave the church its 9th-century form, rebuilding it in 822 and moving the relics of Saint Cecilia there from the Catacombs of St. Calixtus; further restoration came in the 18th century. Benedictine nuns have lived in the adjoining monastery since 1527 and have had charge of the basilica. The façade was added in 1725 by Ferdinando Fuga, and it encloses a courtyard decorated with ancient mosaics and columns.

In the nuns' choir is a Last Judgment that Pietro Cavallini painted between 1289 and 1293, and the presbytery holds a ciborium of 1293 by Arnolfo di Cambio ringed by four marble columns. A glass case under the ciborium encloses Stefano Maderno's white marble Saint Cecilia of 1600, carved following the opening of the tomb in 1599. The crypt, in cosmatesque style, contains the relics of Cecilia and her husband, Saint Valerian.
