Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Bell tower and entrance

The bell tower and entrance are the parts to watch at this scale. A larger print keeps them readable; at the default size, Print friendly adapts the smallest details.

  2. One piece with the ground

Santa Maria in Cosmedin is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Santa Maria in Cosmedin takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Santa Maria in Cosmedin

Santa Maria in Cosmedin is a minor basilica dedicated to the Virgin Mary, in Rome, Italy, in the Ripa neighborhood beside the Tiber. A hall built on the site around 550 served as a diaconia, an early Christian welfare center where charity was distributed to the poor, in a district populated by Greek immigrants. Pope Hadrian I rebuilt and extended it around 780. A twelfth-century renovation added the campanile. The church celebrated Eastern rites and serves Rome's Melkite Greek Catholic community.

The Baroque facade and the 1718 interior refurbishment were stripped out between 1894 and 1899. Outside, the church returned to its twelfth-century appearance; inside, the design recalls the eighth century. The narthex holds the Bocca della Verità, the famous sculpture. The building is about 40 meters long and 20 meters wide, and the epithet Cosmedin is traditionally traced to the Greek word kosmidion, from kosmos, meaning ornament, though more recent scholarship connects the name with a monastery in Constantinople called Kosmidion.
