Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Long, low basilica

A basilica print reads as a long, low building with a prominent roof line. Print friendly detail adapts thin roof edges and small openings to the print scale; Full detail keeps them for a larger print.

  2. Small openings at scale

A larger print helps the facade and its window openings read clearly. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep the vertical edges crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

Santa Prassede is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Santa Prassede takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Santa Prassede

Santa Prassede is a minor basilica and titular church from the early Middle Ages, on Via di Santa Prassede in Rome's Monti district. Saint Mary Major, a papal basilica, stands close by. Saint Praxedes, a second-century figure, is the dedicatee; with her sister Pudentiana she was said to have cared for Christians persecuted under the Roman Empire.

Pope Hadrian I commissioned the church in its present place and general layout around 780, so that it could hold the relics of Praxedes and Pudentiana. A 4th-century bath complex belonging to Pudentiana's family lay beneath. Pope Paschal I enlarged and decorated the basilica around 828, bringing skeletons from the catacombs into it.

Mosaic work is the church's best-known feature. The church is among the oldest in Rome. The apse mosaic places Jesus between Saints Peter and Paul, while Paschal offers a model of the church. Paschal also built the funerary Chapel of Saint Zeno for his mother, Theodora. A claimed segment of the flagellation pillar is kept here as well.
