5 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Bell tower and steep roof
The bell tower and its small peaked roof stand out from the steep main roof. Print friendly adapts these small parts to the print scale; use Full detail on a larger print to keep the dormers and arched bays.
- One piece with the ground
The Sea Cliff Firehouse is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Sea Cliff Firehouse takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Sea Cliff Firehouse
In Sea Cliff, Nassau County, New York, stands a historic fire station, the Sea Cliff Firehouse. Records say the fire department there dates to 1884, while the firehouse building went up in 1931. The National Register of Historic Places added it on May 18, 2003.
The firehouse is a brick building in the Tudor Revival style, one and a half stories high, with ornamental half timbering. Its four engine bays have openings shaped as segmental arches, and dormers pierce the steep slate roof. A bell tower capped with its own slate gable roof completes the design.
