11 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Print larger for platform detail
The station model carries most of its detail close to the ground, so a larger print helps the platform and roof read clearly. Print friendly detail adapts the thinnest parts at small sizes.
- Thin layers for the edges
Use layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm if the print stays small, so the roof and platform edges remain crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Shinanomachi Station is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Shinanomachi Station takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Shinanomachi Station
Shinanomachi Station is a railway stop on the Chūō-Sōbu Line. JR East, formally the East Japan Railway Company, operates it. It is an above-ground station, and the station takes its name from Shinanomachi. It has a single island platform that serves two tracks.
The station is in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. It opened on October 9, 1894. When Japanese National Railways was privatized on April 1, 1987, JR East took control of the station. Chūō-Sōbu Line trains serve the station, and JR East directly manages it.
Several institutions stand near the station. Nearby are Keio University Medical School Hospital and Meiji-Jingu Stadium, along with the Soka Gakkai Headquarters, the Kosen-rufu Daiseido, the Soka Culture Center, the Soka Gakkai Josei Toda International Centre, Komeito Headquarters, the Soka Young Women's Centre, the Seikyo Shimbun Headquarters and the Min-On Music Museum.
About this model
