Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Upper floors and roof edges

A tall tower reads best at a larger size. Full detail, or a bigger print, keeps the upper floors from blurring together.

  2. One piece with the ground

Shinjuku Park Tower is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Shinjuku Park Tower takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Shinjuku Park Tower

Shinjuku Park Tower ranks second in height among the buildings of Shinjuku, Tokyo. Kenzo Tange designed it, and it was completed in 1994. Tokyo Gas Urban Development manages and owns the tower; the company is a subsidiary of Tokyo Gas. The building occupies a former gas storage site that had been decommissioned.

The tower is one structure made of three connected block-shaped elements. The S tower has 52 stories and reaches 235 m (771 ft); the C tower has 47 stories and reaches 209 m (686 ft); the N tower has 41 stories and reaches 182 m (597 ft). Retail stores fill floors 1 to 8, offices occupy floors 9 to 37, and the Park Hyatt Tokyo hotel takes floors 39 to 52, where a swimming pool looks out over the city.

Tokyo Gas runs a regional cooling center there. It heats and cools Nishi-Shinjuku's high-rise district and sends electricity to the neighboring Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. The hotel appears prominently in Lost in Translation, the Academy Award-winning film. The building also appears in the film Godzilla 2000, where a UFO destroys it.
