11 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Dome and courtyard
A mosque of this plan prints best large enough for the dome and forecourt detail to read. Keep layers at 0.12 to 0.16 mm for a smooth dome outline.
- Small courtyard openings
Arched openings can close up at small scales. Use Print friendly to adapt them, or print at the upper end of the size range.
- One piece with the ground
The Sinan Pasha Mosque (Istanbul) is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Sinan Pasha Mosque (Istanbul) takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Sinan Pasha Mosque (Istanbul)
The Sinan Pasha Mosque is an Ottoman mosque in Beşiktaş, a densely populated district of Istanbul, Turkey. Mimar Sinan, the Ottoman architect, designed it for admiral Sinan Pasha, the grand vizier Rüstem Pasha's younger brother. The admiral died in 1554, and construction began after his death; the foundation inscription gives completion as November or December 1555.
Ashlar and brick alternate in layers through the walls. A 12.6 m (41 ft) dome is carried on six arches and two free-standing hexagonal piers, a scheme also found in the earlier Üç Şerefeli Mosque at Edirne. A madrasa with a shed roof on short columns wraps three sides of the forecourt, and a rectangular fountain sits in the middle.
A double portico once stood on the north side; in 1749 the inner one and its five domes became part of the prayer hall. White marble forms the simple minbar. The türbe, or tomb, of Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha stands across the street.
