Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Arched windows and small finials

The long side walls carry rows of narrow arched windows, and small cross-topped finials mark the roofline. A larger print or 0.12 mm layers keeps them crisp; Full detail preserves every one.

  2. One piece with the ground

St. Cecilia Church and Convent is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. St. Cecilia Church and Convent takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About St. Cecilia Church and Convent

The Roman Catholic parish of St. Cecilia, part of the Archdiocese of New York, worships at 120 East 106th Street, on the block between Park and Lexington avenues in Manhattan. The parish dates to 1873, when the Very Reverend Hugh Flattery set up a chapel in an East Harlem resort hotel on 105th Street called the Old Red House.

A small frame church, dedicated on August 20, 1873, served the parish until a larger building was ready. In 1881 Monsignor William P. Flannelly bought land on 106th Street and began construction. Its cornerstone went in on September 9, 1883, and Archbishop Michael Corrigan dedicated the finished church on November 27, 1887.

The Rev. Michael J. Phelan took over as pastor in 1884. He finished the church and built its parish school, St. Cecilia's Institute, which the Sisters of Mercy staffed. The Redemptorist Fathers ran the parish from 1939 to 2007. The city designated the church a landmark in 1976, and in 1984 the church and convent were added to the National Register of Historic Places.
