10 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Corner turrets and pointed windows
The corner tower carries small turrets, a cross, and rows of pointed windows. Print friendly adapts the thinnest of them to the scale; a larger print or Full detail keeps more, and 0.12–0.16 mm layers help.
- One piece with the ground
St. Elizabeth Church is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. St. Elizabeth Church takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About St. Elizabeth Church
The parish church of St. Elizabeth, a Roman Catholic church of the Archdiocese of New York, stands at West 187th Street and Wadsworth Avenue in Washington Heights, Manhattan. The parish dates to 1869, and it was located on 187th Street at Broadway until 1929.
The Rev. Cornelius O’Callaghan founded it in the area then known as Fort Washington, and it took on St. John’s in the Bronx, then served by the Jesuits of Fordham University, as an out-mission until that church became its own parish in 1877.
The stone church in its Neo-Gothic form was begun in 1927 and designed by architect Robert J. Reiley. The rectory on West 187th Street, built in 1913 for $20,000, has three stories of brick and stone; Edward Lee Young was its architect.
