Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Slender corner spire

A thin spire with a small cross rises above the tower at one end. Print friendly adapts it to the print scale; Full detail keeps it on a larger print. Print slowly so the tip cools.

  2. Tall arched windows

The long sides have rows of narrow arched windows and shallow ribs. A layer height of 0.12-0.16 mm keeps them crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

St. John's Church, Bronx is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. St. John's Church, Bronx takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About St. John's Church, Bronx

St. John's is a Roman Catholic parish church under the Archdiocese of New York, standing at 3021 Kingsbridge Avenue in the Bronx. The parish bought its property in 1870 and began building a wood-framed church, the first Catholic church in the Kingsbridge part of the Bronx. The Religious of Jesus and Mary have long been tied to the parish, which has served as their main base in the city.

John Cardinal McCloskey dedicated a small timber-framed church here on December 4, 1877. In 1893, Rev. Edward O'Gorman removed it and put up half of the basement of the present church. His successor, Rev. Daniel H. O'Dwyer, then erected the present church. The old church was turned into a well-equipped hall.

The present church is the work of Davis, McGrath & Kiessling, in the Tudor style. An early description notes a painting that copies Brumidi's Crucifixion above the altar, and a basement with a chapel, a hall, a theater, club-rooms and a gymnasium. Rev. O'Dwyer served as pastor from 1904 to 1909.
