Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Tower openings and steep roofs
The square tower has narrow arched openings, and the steep roofs have fine ridges. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm and a larger print size keep them crisp; use Full detail if your nozzle is fine.
- One piece with the ground
St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Queens is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Queens takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Queens
Built in three phases, finished in 1925, 1929 and 1940, St. Luke's Episcopal Church stands in Forest Hills, a neighborhood of Queens in New York City. Robert Tappan was its architect. Its style is described as Collegiate Gothic, with some Arts and Crafts influence, picked to blend with the houses around it in upscale Forest Hills Gardens.
Tappan lived in Forest Hills Gardens, belonged to the congregation, and charged nothing for his work. A parish house followed in 1950, designed by architect Steward Wagner, who also lived in the Gardens and belonged to The Church-in-the-Gardens, which stands close by. The National Register of Historic Places listed the church in 2010.
