Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Twin spires with crosses

Two pointed spires end in small crosses. Print slowly with cooling for the tips; Print friendly adapts the thinnest parts.

  2. Rows of arched windows

Tall arched windows run along the long walls. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm and a bigger print size keep them crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

St. Paul Church is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. St. Paul Church takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About St. Paul Church

The Church of St. Paul belongs to the Archdiocese of New York as a Catholic parish, in East Harlem, Manhattan. It was the sixth parish set up in New York City, and the city designated it a landmark on June 28, 2016. Bishop John Dubois chose 117th Street as the site of a new parish and asked Rev. Michael Curran to lead it. The cornerstone of the church was set on June 29, 1835.

Its walls are brick on a steel frame, faced in limestone. The firm Neville & Bagge designed it, in the Romanesque Revival style, and it was completed in 1908. Fr. Kane's tenure brought a marble altar rail and an oak reredos. Archbishop John McCloskey rededicated the church on July 9, 1871, after a substantial enlargement.

Father Eugene Maguire founded the parish school in 1870, and the New York Sisters of Charity looked after it. The area's population, once predominantly Irish, gradually changed to include more Spanish-speaking Catholics. Since 1998 Fathers of the Institute of the Incarnate Word have staffed the parish, and Holy Rosary parish was merged into St. Paul's in 2015.
