Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Two front towers

Two tall towers with pointed roofs flank the front. Print friendly adapts their tips to the print scale; slow printing with good cooling and a bigger print keep them clean.

  2. Round apse and arcades

A rounded apse and rows of small arches run along the walls. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps them crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

St. Peter's Church, Staten Island is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. St. Peter's Church, Staten Island takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About St. Peter's Church, Staten Island

St. Peter's Church is a Roman Catholic parish church of the Archdiocese of New York, in New Brighton on Staten Island. It is the oldest of the island's 36 Roman Catholic parishes. Bishop John Dubois established it in March 1839, before St. Mary's (1852) and St. Joseph's (1855), and it is described as the mother church of Staten Island.

Land on Carroll Place was leased for the first church, which Bishop John Hughes dedicated in September 1844. In 1846 the Rev. James Roosevelt Bayley, a nephew of Elizabeth Ann Seton and a future Archbishop of Baltimore, became pastor. St. Joseph's in Rossville began in 1848, when St. Peter's started it as a mission.

John Cardinal Farley, who had first been assigned as a priest to the parish, laid the cornerstone of a new church in August 1900. It was finished by Thanksgiving Day of 1903, and George Edward Harding & Gooch was the architectural firm behind it. Its style is neo-Romanesque with Gothic accents. It stands on a hill, and seamen use it as a landmark.
