3 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Thin flagpole and chimneys
A slim flagpole with small flags stands behind the roof, beside two chimneys. Print friendly adapts these to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on larger prints. Print slowly.
- Fine horizontal lines
Closely spaced horizontal lines mark the walls and roof. A layer height of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keeps them readable.
- One piece with the ground
The Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre
The Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre stands in Central Park, Manhattan, near West Drive and 79th Street, southeast of the Delacorte Theater. Sweden sent the building to the United States in 1876 as its exhibit at the Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia, and Magnus Isæus is listed as its architect.
Frederick Law Olmsted noticed its Swedish architecture and craftsmanship, which suggested a model schoolhouse to him, and he moved it to Central Park in 1877. From 1947 the cottage was the base of a marionette troupe that traveled to playgrounds and school auditoriums across the city. In 1973 a permanent theater for marionette performances was built inside it. The City Parks Foundation manages the shows, whose past productions include "Hansel and Gretel", "Gulliver's Travels" and "Alice in Wonderland". Membership in the Historic House Trust also includes the cottage.
