Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. A small building in a large map

This is a small building in a wide landscape of hills and water, so its details are tiny at print scale. A larger print or Full detail keeps more; Print friendly simplifies the smallest parts.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Bryant Library is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Bryant Library takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About The Bryant Library

In Roslyn, a village on Long Island, New York, a historic building serves as a community center and public library. It is called The Bryant Library and was originally the Roslyn War Memorial Building. Nassau County’s oldest public library, it was established in 1878.

The building went up in 1921 in the wake of World War I, as a community center and as a memorial to nine Roslyn residents who lost their lives in the war. Frederick Marquand Godwin, a great-grandson of the writer William Cullen Bryant, designed it, and the Roslyn-based Whitney Co., Inc. built it. It soon won an award as the best war memorial in a small town.

The library made the building its permanent home in 1952, and an expansion at the rear followed in the late 1960s. New York State’s register of historic places listed it in 1986; in 1987 the National Register of Historic Places followed, with the building counted as a contributing property in the Roslyn Village Historic District.
