Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Tower with a small lantern

A small open lantern tops the tower, and the roofs are finely ribbed. Print slowly with good cooling; Full detail keeps the lantern on larger prints.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Church-in-the-Gardens is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Church-in-the-Gardens takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About The Church-in-the-Gardens

This historic Congregational church complex in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, also goes by the name Community Congregational Christian Church. It comprises the church (1915), the Community House (1926) and the Parish Hall (1953), joined by breezeways, plus a separate parsonage (1929).

All of the buildings share an eclectic Tudor Revival style. The architects Grosvenor Atterbury with John Almy Tompkins II designed the church, which has a rectangular shape, a prominent tower, and an attached bell tower. In May 2012 the church became part of the United Church of Christ. National Register of Historic Places listing came in 2009.
