Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Rooftop and crown

Rooftop structures and a decorated roofline stand above the main roof. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on larger prints, ideally printed slowly with good cooling.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Empire Hotel is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Empire Hotel takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About The Empire Hotel

A boutique hotel, The Empire Hotel stands on West 63rd Street where it meets Broadway, in Manhattan. It has 426 guestrooms, 50 of them suites, and an 8,000 square foot lounge called the Empire Rooftop sits on top of the building.

The site first held a seven-story building from 1889, which Herbert DuPuy bought in 1908. In 1922 he tore it down and put up a 15-story structure that became the hotel. Hotel historian Stanley Turkel reports that the hotel opened on December 5, 1923, with a red neon sign reading "Hotel Empire" on its roof.

A single room with its own toilet and lavatory cost $2.00 a day in 1935, and a suite with parlor, bedroom and bath was $5.00. In the 1950s the hotel was redecorated and gained a new dining room on the lobby floor, plus a cocktail lounge with air conditioning and a coffee shop. In the basement, the Iridium Room Jazz Club became known for weekly Les Paul concerts.
