Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Steep roof and dormers

A steep pitched roof with small dormers rises from one corner of the top. Print friendly adapts the thin parts; Full detail keeps every dormer and suits a larger print.

  2. Tall facade with many windows

The sides are tall brick walls with tight grids of windows. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps that vertical detail crisp, and printing larger keeps more of the windows.

  3. One piece with the ground

The The Mark Hotel is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The The Mark Hotel takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the The Mark Hotel

On Manhattan's Upper East Side, at 25 East 77th Street and Madison Avenue, stands The Mark Hotel, a luxury property. Schwartz & Gross were the architects, working in the Renaissance Revival style, and the building dates from 1927. It has 16 floors. Central Park and a number of cultural institutions, the Metropolitan Museum of Art among them, are nearby.

Its September 1927 opening was as an apartment hotel named the Hyde Park Hotel. E. William Judson headed the investor group that bought it in 1984, and after renovation the hotel was called the Madison Avenue Hotel. Then in 1988 the property became a luxury hotel run by the Rafael Group and took the name The Mark, with more renovations in 1990. The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group took over the Rafael Group in 2000 and gave the hotel Mandarin branding.

In 2006 Alexico Group's Izak Senbahar and Simon Elias bought the building from Mandarin Oriental. The French designer Jacques Grange reimagined the interiors in 2009. He brought in artists and artisans such as Karl Lagerfeld, Ron Arad and Piero Lissoni to make furnishings and artwork. The building has 106 hotel rooms and 47 suites.
