About The Signature at MGM Grand

A condo-hotel attached to the MGM Grand resort, The Signature at MGM Grand sits in Paradise, Nevada, close to the Las Vegas Strip. Three towers make up the complex, each rising 38 stories, and they hold 1,728 units in total. Every tower is linked to the MGM Grand, and a moving walkway ran from each one to the resort. Each tower holds 576 units, and gold glass covers the exteriors. The Signature had its own entrance, along with a separate staff of bellhops, concierges and valets.

MGM Mirage partnered with Turnberry Associates on the project, announcing the deal on December 5, 2002. The land had held the MGM Grand Adventures Theme Park, a 1993 attraction that shut down earlier in 2002. Sales of units, under the name The Residences at MGM Grand, started in early 2004, and the first tower was underway at Harmon Avenue and Koval Lane later that year. On October 7, 2005, that tower was topped off, and it opened in May 2006. It opened ahead of any other condo-hotel near the Las Vegas Strip, and Bergman Walls & Associates designed the project.

Three tall, slender towers
Each tower is narrow compared with its height. Print slowly with good cooling so they stay straight, and a larger print size gives sturdier shafts.
Arched crowns and vertical ribs
Every tower ends in a thin curved arch, and the faces carry fine vertical ribs. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail keeps them, which suits a larger print or a fine nozzle.
One piece with the ground
The Signature at MGM Grand is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Signature at MGM Grand takes the building color.
File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
