9 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Packed in among neighbors
The model sits close to neighboring buildings, so narrow gaps and sharp edges appear near the base. A larger print size keeps those gaps readable.
- Slow, fine layers
Printing with 0.12–0.16 mm layers keeps vertical trim crisp, and a slower pace helps the narrow upper parts of surrounding buildings.
- One piece with the ground
The Theater Center is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Theater Center takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About The Theater Center
Two stages make up The Theater Center, an off-Broadway venue on 50th Street in Manhattan. Actress and producer Catherine Russell built the complex in partnership with Snapple, which marked Off-Broadway's first corporate sponsorship of that kind. On May 22, 2006, it opened under the name Snapple Theater Center, when Wendy Kaufman, "the Snapple Lady," ceremonially lit the marquee. In May 2016 the name dropped Snapple and became The Theater Center.
The facility covers 20,000 square feet and holds two theaters with a combined 398 seats, along with rehearsal studios, lobbies, two bars and two merchandise stands. The stages are named the Jerry Orbach Theater and the Anne L. Bernstein Theater, and each seats 199 people.
The Fantasticks was revived in the Jerry Orbach Theater in summer 2007; the space was named that year for the actor, who starred as El Gallo in the show's original production in 1960. Perfect Crime, a long-running play starring Catherine Russell, moved into the Anne L. Bernstein Theater when the center opened in 2006, and the space has carried producer Anne L. Bernstein's name since 2012.
About this model
The Theater Center is one of more than 4,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
