  1. A tall, slender spire

The tall tower and its slender spire are the thinnest part of this model. Print slowly with good cooling and use 0.12–0.16 mm layers; Print friendly adapts the tip to the scale, and a larger print keeps more of it.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Manhattan is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Manhattan takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Manhattan

Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church sits at 164 West 100th Street, a little east of Amsterdam Avenue, on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. The congregation started out as the German Evangelical Lutheran Church, founded in 1888 to serve German immigrants who were settling there. At first it held services in a storefront while money was raised for land and a sanctuary.

George W. Conable designed the double-height church, built in 1908 of brick and stone masonry in a Gothic Revival style. During the 1950s Robert Moses’ urban renewal program targeted it for demolition. The parish resisted, and after 10 years it won; the church was the sole building left standing across 32 acres (13 ha) of its neighborhood. It joined the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.
