About Tuscany Suites and Casino

Tuscany Suites and Casino is a Paradise, Nevada, resort east of the Las Vegas Strip, on Flamingo Road. Charles Heers, a Las Vegas developer, conceived the project, and his family also held the Vacation Village hotel and casino. Heers bought 7.1 ha (17.5 acres) from the Howard Hughes estate in 1988 and added another 4.0 ha (10 acres) later. In December 2001 the hotel, which has only suites, opened with 716 rooms. The whole project cost $100 million to build.

A soft opening for the casino took place on January 17, 2003, and its gaming space measures 2,291.5 m2 (24,665 sq ft). Convention space went in on the second floor of the casino building. The owners hoped to draw both tourists and local residents, workers at Strip resorts among them. In 2002 Palazzo Ristorante opened. Marilyn's, named for Heers' wife, came a year later, and a food court was added in 2003. Between 2015 and 2017, the hotel rooms were renovated at a cost of $5 million.

How it prints

Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

Many small hipped roofs
The buildings are low and wide, with several small hipped roofs and rooftop details. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; a larger print size keeps more of them.
Low model, thin layers
The whole complex is low and wide. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep its roof edges crisp.
One piece with the ground
Tuscany Suites and Casino is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Tuscany Suites and Casino takes the building color.
File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

Common questions

Is there a Tuscany Suites and Casino STL I can download?

Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.

How big can I print it?

Any print size from 40 mm across. Tuscany Suites and Casino grows with the print: about 4 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.

Is it free?

Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
