Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Chimneys and bell tower

Several slim chimneys and a small open bell tower stand above the roofline. Print friendly adapts these thin parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps them for a larger print.

  2. Many steep gables

The roofs meet in several steep gables. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps the sharp ridges and slopes crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Union Church of Pocantico Hills is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Union Church of Pocantico Hills takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Union Church of Pocantico Hills

Union Church is a historic church with no denomination, located in Pocantico Hills, New York. In 1921, John D. Rockefeller Jr. paid for most of its construction, as part of his plan to develop the community, which lay below the Rockefeller family estate, Kykuit. The land was a gift from his father, John D. Rockefeller Sr., and Barron Collier, an advertising entrepreneur who owned a neighboring estate, also contributed.

The church is a one-story neo-Gothic building with a fieldstone foundation and walls and a highly pitched gable roof covered in slate. A parish hall was added at the east end in 1930–1931. Modern art is central to its historic status. After Abby Aldrich Rockefeller died in 1948, her son Nelson Rockefeller asked Henri Matisse to design the rose window in her memory.

Following the 1960 death of John D. Rockefeller Jr., his children hired Marc Chagall to create a Good Samaritan window honoring him. In 2006, the Rockefeller family and church members engaged organbuilder Sebastian M. Glück to build a memorial pipe organ, based on Paris organs from the fin-de-siècle period. The church is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
