  1. Shallow pilasters and roof ridges

The front has shallow pilasters, and the roof is covered in fine ridges. Print friendly adapts these small details to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on larger prints.

  2. One piece with the ground

The United States Post Office, Bronxville is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The United States Post Office, Bronxville takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the United States Post Office, Bronxville

The Bronxville post office, a historic building in Westchester County, New York, dates to 1937. Consulting architect Eric Kebbon designed it on behalf of the Office of the Supervising Architect. The one-and-a-half-story building is faced with brick, trimmed in limestone and designed in the Colonial Revival style. Six extremely flat limestone pilasters flank the central entrance on the front.

A mural by John French Sloan, painted in 1939, decorates the lobby, and its title refers to the first mail arriving in Bronxville in 1846. The post office earned a National Register of Historic Places listing in 1988, as part of a thematic group of New York State post offices dating from 1858 to 1943.
