Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Wide facade with fine trim

The building is broad and low, and its windows and edge trim are small details. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on larger prints, and a layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps them crisp.

  2. One piece with the ground

The United States Post Office, Jamaica is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The United States Post Office, Jamaica takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the United States Post Office, Jamaica

The Jamaica Main post office occupies the corner where 164th Street meets 89th Avenue, on the northwest side, in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens, New York. It serves the 11432 ZIP Code and was built between 1932 and 1934. It is one of two New York City post offices by the architects Cross & Cross, who acted as consultants for the Office of the Supervising Architect.

Its brick walls rise two stories from a base of light gray granite, with marble trim, and its style is Colonial Revival. A marble portico held up by four Ionic columns is a handsome feature of its design. In 2007 it was renamed to honor Clarence L. Irving. The National Register of Historic Places listed it in 1988.
