  1. Columns on the entrance side

One side of this boxy, flat-roofed building carries a row of slender columns. Try Print friendly for small prints, or Full detail with a larger print size to keep the column row separate.

  2. One piece with the ground

United States Post Office, Mount Vernon is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. United States Post Office, Mount Vernon takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About United States Post Office, Mount Vernon

Mount Vernon, which lies in Westchester County, New York, is home to this post office, which dates to 1915. The Office of the Supervising Architect, directed by Oscar Wenderoth, designed a number of post offices, and this was one of them, a historic building.

Limestone faces this symmetrical structure, designed in the Classical Revival style, and it rises between two and three stories. Its center section is five bays wide, and a recessed wing one bay wide flanks it on each side. The National Register of Historic Places took in the building in 1989.
