- Columns and portico detail
The front has a portico on slender columns, with arched windows and roofline trim around it. Print friendly adapts these small parts to the print scale; Full detail or a larger print keeps them.
- One piece with the ground
United States Post Office, Port Chester is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. United States Post Office, Port Chester takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About United States Post Office, Port Chester
A historic post office building stands in Port Chester, which lies in Westchester County, New York. Zoller and Muller, consulting architects, drew up the design on behalf of the Office of the Supervising Architect, and it was built in 1932 and 1933. Its National Register of Historic Places listing dates from 1989.
The one-story, symmetrical building has brick walls with limestone and granite trim, designed in the Colonial Revival style. On the front facade, a central pavilion projects forward and carries a shallow portico made up of limestone Corinthian columns in two pairs, which Corinthian pilasters echo. In the lobby, nine lunettes and four large murals, designed by Domenico Mortellito, were installed in 1936.
