Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Flat roof with a raised pavilion

The roof is flat, with a raised central section and a small mast on top. Print friendly adapts a thin mast to the print scale; a bigger print keeps more of it.

  2. One piece with the ground

United States Post Office, Williamsburg is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. United States Post Office, Williamsburg takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About United States Post Office, Williamsburg

The US Post Office-Metropolitan Station, first called Station "A", stands in Williamsburg, in Brooklyn, New York. It was built in 1936. Its design came from the Office of the Supervising Architect, working under Louis A. Simon, as with a number of other New York post offices.

Two stories of brick sit under a flat roof. A central pavilion three bays wide has a wing of the same width on either side, all in the Colonial Revival style. Lorimer Rich is believed to have been a contributing architect. The post office earned a National Register of Historic Places listing in 1988.
