Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Towers and fine detail

Towers have thin parts near the top. Print friendly adapts them at small sizes; a larger print with Full detail, slow speed and cooling suits the tower tops.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Vienna City Hall is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Vienna City Hall takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Vienna City Hall

Vienna's town hall, the Wiener Rathaus, stands on the Rathausplatz in the Innere Stadt, just off the Ringstrasse. Friedrich von Schmidt designed the Gothic Revival building, which was built from 1872 to 1883; he had won the competition held in 1868. The Mayor of Vienna's offices, along with the city and state government, are housed here.

Freestanding, the Rathaus is a Neo-Gothic building with Renaissance elements. A central Risalit carries a large tower, flanked by four smaller towers, with open arcades along the ground floor. The tower, 98 meters high, is topped by the Rathausmann, a figure symbolic of Vienna. The building measures 152 meters in length and 127 in width, and has 2,035 windows and 1,575 rooms.

The site was the Josefstädter Glacis, formerly a parade ground and restricted area before the city walls were demolished. The foundation stone was laid on June 14, 1873, and the final stone was placed on September 12, 1883, coinciding with the bicentennial of the Ottoman defeat in 1683. The City Council moved in on June 23, 1885. Construction cost about 14 million florins.

About this model

The Vienna City Hall is one of more than 5,500 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Each model is written as code from public descriptions, plans, photographs and aerial views used only as references; no image or third-party model is copied into it. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. Rights in the building itself, its name and any brands on it are not granted by Mini Skyline; clear them separately before you sell prints. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
