Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Arcaded front

The Second Avenue front has a row of arches and small ornament. Print friendly adapts these small parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on larger prints.

  2. Low block between taller ones

The theater is low next to taller buildings, so it looks small in a compact print. A larger print size and a layer height of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep its facade crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

Village East by Angelika is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Village East by Angelika takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Village East by Angelika

In Manhattan's East Village, on Second Avenue at 12th Street (number 189), stands Village East by Angelika, a cinema that started life as the Louis N. Jaffe Art Theatre. It lies within the former Yiddish Theatre District. Harrison Wiseman designed it in the Moorish Revival style, and Louis Jaffe built it between 1925 and 1926 for the Yiddish Art Theatre company of Maurice Schwartz. It was the only theater in that district built specifically for a Yiddish theatrical group.

Visitors enter through an office wing on Second Avenue, three stories tall and faced in cast stone. The first two stories form a double-height arcade of seven arches, and the main entrance bay is taller and wider than the rest. Capitals near the top of its arch are shaped like half-menorahs. The auditorium is at the rear along 12th Street, with a brown-brick facade. Its balcony and boxes remain in original condition, while the orchestra and former stage area are split into six screens.

Its first night, on November 17, 1926, featured The Tenth Commandment, and it served mostly as a Yiddish playhouse until 1945. Later it was a movie house, and it hosted off-Broadway shows and burlesque under a series of names. After closing in 1988 it was renovated into Village East Cinema, which reopened in 1991, and Angelika rebranded it in 2021. The city has designated both the exterior and the interior as landmarks, and the theater is also on the National Register.
