About Westgate Las Vegas

The Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino combines a hotel, a casino and a timeshare resort in Winchester, Nevada. Its 64-acre (26 ha) site sits on Paradise Road's east side. The 30-story hotel tower is 114 m (375 ft) tall and holds 2,956 rooms. Its architect, Martin Stern, worked in the International Style and gave it a Y-shaped design that takes inspiration from the UNESCO Headquarters. The grounds also include a convention center, a food court, a sportsbook called the Superbook and a station on the Las Vegas Monorail.

Real estate developer Kirk Kerkorian acquired the site in 1967, and the International Hotel opened its doors on July 2, 1969. It was then Nevada's tallest building and its largest hotel. Elvis Presley gave the first show of a seven-year run on July 31, 1969, which came to 636 consecutive sold-out shows. From 1981 to 1990, the hotel was the largest in the world.

Hilton Hotels took over, and in July 1971 the hotel took the name Las Vegas Hilton. A 620-room east tower extension was finished in 1975, and a second expansion added 644 rooms to the north tower by 1979. The top floor holds three Sky Villas, each with a private swimming pool. In 2012 it became LVH – Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, and Westgate Resorts bought it in 2014, then began renovating and converting rooms into timeshares.

How it prints

Make this print opens the generator on a 900 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

Ribbed Y-shaped tower
The tower's long curved wings carry fine vertical ribbing. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep that texture crisp, and Print friendly may smooth the finest lines at small print sizes.
Small pool-deck details
Tiny round shapes and a pool outline sit on the podium. Full detail keeps them on a larger print; Print friendly adapts them when the print is small.
One piece with the ground
Westgate Las Vegas is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Westgate Las Vegas takes the building color.
File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

Is there a Westgate Las Vegas STL I can download?

Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.

Any print size from 40 mm across. Westgate Las Vegas grows with the print: about 21 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.

Is it free?
