12 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Ribbed dome and cupola
The large dome has fine ribs, a ring of small windows and a slim cupola on top. A layer height of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keeps the ribs crisp, and printing slowly helps the cupola.
- Arches, pilasters and a second dome
The street fronts have tall arches and rows of pilasters, and a smaller dome sits beside the large one. Print friendly adapts them to your print scale; Full detail keeps every one.
- One piece with the ground
The Williamsburgh Savings Bank Building, 175 Broadway is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Williamsburgh Savings Bank Building, 175 Broadway takes the building color.
- File format

About the Williamsburgh Savings Bank Building, 175 Broadway
The former Williamsburgh Savings Bank building, called the Weylin and 175 Broadway, stands where Broadway meets Driggs Avenue, on the northwest corner, in Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood, just south of the Williamsburg Bridge. It was built in 1875 as the bank's headquarters and later expanded several times. George B. Post designed it in the Classical Revival style, and Peter B. Wight did the interiors.
The building is four stories high and has a domed roof. Marble, limestone and sandstone make up its facade, and a flight of steps on Broadway leads to an archway at the entrance. A drum with 20 oval windows supports the large dome, which has a cupola and weather vane at the top. A decorative vestibule opens onto the first banking room, which has pilasters and arches under a painted dome; a smaller dome covered a second banking room at the west side.
Post won the job in 1869 after a design competition, and the bank's third headquarters opened in June 1875. Helmle, Huberty & Hudswell designed an addition built from 1903 to 1906. In 1929 the bank relocated its main office to One Hanson Place (Downtown Brooklyn) but kept this building running as a branch. New York City designated the facade and original banking room as landmarks, and in 1980 it earned a place on the National Register of Historic Places. The banking hall reopened as an event space named the Weylin in 2014.
