About Wisma 46

Wisma 46 stands on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman in Jakarta, Indonesia, as part of the BNI City complex, with an architectural height of 261.9 m (859 ft). Completed in 1996, it has 46 floors above ground, used for offices only, and two underground floors for car parking. DP Architects Private Ltd and Zeidler Roberts Partnership, also called Zeidler Partnership Architects, designed it. An antenna spire of 10 m (33 ft) crowns the tower.

The tower has a modern design and an unusual look: its shape curves like a pen, and a facade of square-patterned glass covers it fully. A hollow concrete wall, also square in shape, covers the glass on either side. Because of this distinctive appearance, it is counted among the icons of Jakarta, after Monas.

From 1996 until 2016, no building in Indonesia was taller than Wisma 46; the 285.5 m (937 ft) Gama Tower then surpassed it. Up to the roof it reaches 261.9 m (859 ft), and to the lower roof just 200 m (660 ft). Its floor area measures 140,028 square meters (1,507,250 sq ft), and it has 24 elevators, six of them super high speed models that reach 360 meters per minute. Need For Speed: Underground 2, a video game from 2004, includes the tower, and it is on the cover of the book Indonesia Etc by Elizabeth Pisani.

How it prints

Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

Landmark height and scale at three print sizes
Print size Landmark height Scale
160 mm default 70 mm 1:3,750
200 mm 88 mm 1:3,000

A slim lattice spire
The very top ends in a thin lattice spire. Print slowly with good cooling; Print friendly adapts it to the print scale, while Full detail keeps every bar on a larger print.
A curved shaft, fine grid
The curved shaft is covered in a fine grid of windows. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep the grid crisp, and a larger print size keeps it from blurring.
One piece with the ground
Wisma 46 is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Wisma 46 takes the building color.
File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About this model

Wisma 46 is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.

Common questions

Is there a Wisma 46 STL I can download?

Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.

How big can I print it?

Any print size from 40 mm across. Wisma 46 grows with the print: about 70 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.

Is it free?

Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
