Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Chimneys and overhanging eaves

The model has several tall chimneys, deep eaves and glassed-in porch ends. Print friendly adapts these thin or small parts; Full detail or a larger print keeps more, and a fine layer height keeps the edges clean.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Woman's Club of White Plains is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Woman's Club of White Plains takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Woman's Club of White Plains

In White Plains, in Westchester County, New York, the Woman's Club occupies a historic clubhouse that began as the Thomas H. Kerr residence in 1910. The Contemporary Club acquired it for use as a clubhouse, and it was enlarged in 1932. The firm McKim, Mead and (Sanford) White designed the property, which once covered 41 acres, with a small farm and extensive orchards.

Built of stuccoed, poured concrete, the house has two stories and is in the Italian Renaissance Revival style. A broad hipped roof with eaves that overhang deeply carries conspicuous brick chimneys. Large glass-enclosed porches sit at each end. Inside are a library, a tea room and period lighting fixtures. Dining room murals were painted by hand in the late 1800s at a Mediterranean villa and shipped to the house; they lay hidden under shellac until discovered and restored.

Helen Keller, Eleanor Roosevelt, Carl Sandburg, Tallulah Bankhead, David McCullough and Admiral Richard Byrd are among the notable speakers its stage has hosted. American Homes and Gardens magazine wrote in 1913 that it was a country home of great beauty and refinement. Its National Register of Historic Places listing dates from 2010.
