Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Corner minarets and domes

The slender corner minarets with small domes are the most fragile parts. Use Print friendly for small prints so their tops survive, or Full detail on a larger print, and print slowly.

  2. One piece with the ground

Young Israel of Flatbush is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Young Israel of Flatbush takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Young Israel of Flatbush

Young Israel of Flatbush was an Orthodox Jewish congregation and synagogue, and the historic building stands on Avenue I, at number 1012, in the Midwood part of Brooklyn. The congregation was established in 1921 and worshiped in the Ashkenazi rite. It was one of the early local chapters of the Young Israel movement's National Council, and for long one of the largest.

Construction ran from 1925 to 1929. The result is a three-story building in a Moorish Revival-inspired style, faced in polychromatic patterned brick, with horseshoe arches, minarets and polychromatic tiles. Louis Abramson is listed as its architect. The National Register of Historic Places added the building in 2010.

Rabbi Solomon Sharfman led the congregation from 1938 until he retired in 1984. A 2021 merger with Talmud Torah of Flatbush created Young Israel Talmud Torah of Flatbush, which meets in the former Talmud Torah synagogue on Coney Island Avenue in Brooklyn.
