13 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 1000 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A low, flat oval
The stadium is a low oval in this model, so the curve of its rim is the line to watch. Print it larger if your plate allows, and use 0.12–0.16 mm layers for crisp edges.
- One piece with the ground
The Atatürk Olympic Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Atatürk Olympic Stadium takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Atatürk Olympic Stadium
The Atatürk Olympic Stadium is a stadium in Istanbul, Türkiye, in Başakşehir, the western district of the city. It seats more people than any other stadium in the country, and by capacity it is the biggest permanent track and field stadium anywhere outside Africa and Asia. Its name honors Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who founded the Turkish republic and was its first president. Work ran from 1999 to 2002. The stadium was first built for Turkey's bid to host the 2008 Olympic Games, which went to Beijing; it cost about US$140 million.
The stadium has two steel roofs, one of 2,800 t and one of 1,300 t. The west roof takes the shape of a crescent and rests mainly on a mega-truss, a main beam of 1,000 t, carried by two reinforced concrete shafts with a 196 m span. The stadium has 134 entrances and 148 exit gates, enough to let 80,000 spectators leave within 7.5 minutes, and a 42,200 m2 commercial center runs under the west roof over 6 floors, 3 of them below ground.
UEFA gave the stadium its 5-star sports complex title in 2004, which allowed it to stage UEFA finals. Milan and Liverpool met in the Champions League final there on May 25, 2005, and Manchester City met Inter Milan in the 2023 final on June 10, 2023, winning 1–0 for a first title in the competition. Istanbul BB used the ground until 2014, and Fatih Karagümrük has played its home games there since the club reached the Süper Lig in 2020.
