Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Steep temporary end stands

Two high stands push out past the round wall, their decks carried on slim columns. At a small size these parts get fragile, so print slowly; Print friendly adapts them to the print scale.

  2. Funnel roof and portico

The roof slopes down to a near-round opening, and columns stand in front of the long sides. Full detail keeps the columns and the ring of brackets; a bigger print helps.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Central Stadium (Yekaterinburg) is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Central Stadium (Yekaterinburg) takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Central Stadium (Yekaterinburg)

Yekaterinburg Arena, a football stadium in Yekaterinburg, Russia, is the home ground of FC Ural Yekaterinburg, the oldest football club in the country. Its capacity is just over 35,000. The site has long been used for sport: a velodrome sponsored by the merchant Kamaletdin Agafurov stood there from 1900, the Regional Stadium from 1928 and a ground called Metallurg of the East from 1936. A rebuild in the 1950s to satisfy fire safety rules produced a new ground, the Central, which opened in 1957.

The ground was listed among the top ten sports facilities in the Soviet Union, and in its first years it grew into one of the world's leading speed skating arenas. It staged the women's World Allround Speed Skating Championships in 1959 and USSR championships in 1958, 1962, 1964 and 1966, where multiple world records were made, and between 1964 and 1973 it drew matches that pitted the strongest speed skating nations against each other. It also hosted the Spartakiad in 1962, 1966, 1974 and 1978.

Picked for the 2018 FIFA World Cup as one of twelve venues in eleven host cities, the stadium gained temporary stands outside its original perimeter to meet the tournament's minimum capacity, and those stands also sheltered the historic facade, a monument of Stalinist neoclassicism. It held 35,696 spectators for the World Cup, 12,000 of them on the temporary seating, and its first match after the reconstruction came on April 1, 2018, when Ural met Rubin Kazan. The temporary stands drew international attention for their appearance, jutting out beyond the outer facade.
