9 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Open end and stacked stands
One end of the ground is open, and the stands differ sharply in height. Print friendly preserves the open horseshoe; Full detail keeps the stair aisles and entrance hoods on the main terrace.
- Lighting ribbon and towers
A long row of light heads runs above the main terrace, with two tall lattice towers behind it. Print slowly for the thin masts, and use 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers for the raking rows.
- One piece with the ground
Estadio Diego Armando Maradona is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Estadio Diego Armando Maradona takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Estadio Diego Armando Maradona
The football ground is located in the Villa General Mitre district of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and is known as the Estadio Diego Armando Maradona. The club Argentinos Juniors plays its home games there, and the stadium holds 25,110 spectators. It was refurbished before it received its present name in 2004.
The ground took its name in 2004 in honor of Diego Maradona, a former Argentinos player who lived from 1960 to 2020 and made his professional debut at the ground in Buenos Aires in 1976. The name change also came after the ground was refurbished, and it marked the club's centenary year.
An earlier Argentinos Juniors stadium opened on April 27, 1940, when the club defeated Barracas Central 2–1. The old ground was demolished in 1995. The present stadium was completed in 2003 and opened its gates on December 26, and 30,000 people filled the stands for the ceremony. Lionel Messi made his debut for the Argentina under-20 team here, and his first international goal came in a friendly against Paraguay at the ground on June 29, 2004.
