14 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Crescent roof and its tips
The membrane roof sweeps over the west stand and both ends as a cambered crescent, scalloped along its outer edge and sinking to narrow tips. Full detail and a larger print keep those thin tips intact.
- Raking masts and stays
Six masts lean out at the roof edge, with fan stays to the membrane and back stays to the rim. These are tall and slender: printing slowly with cooling helps, and 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers keep the arches crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Jeju World Cup Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Jeju World Cup Stadium takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Jeju World Cup Stadium
Jeju World Cup Stadium stands in Seogwipo, a city on Jeju, the South Korean island that forms a province of the same name. It is a football ground, and since 2006 the K League club Jeju SK has played at home there.
The stadium was built with a capacity of 42,000 for the 2002 FIFA World Cup, and three matches of the tournament were played there. Seats put in the East Stand for the tournament were temporary; they were later taken out and moved to other venues, and capacity fell to 29,346 spectators.
Its form follows the mouth of a volcano, a shape drawn from the volcanic landscape of Jeju Island and from the sea around it. The roof takes the form of the nets used by the traditional fishing boats of Jeju.
About this model
Jeju World Cup Stadium is one of more than 4,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
