Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Fine ribs across the roof

The round roof is patterned with thin radial ribs. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale, while Full detail keeps every rib for a larger print; layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm help them read cleanly.

  2. A ring of slim columns

A ring of narrow vertical columns circles the base of the drum. A bigger print size gives them more body, and printing slowly with good cooling helps thin parts stay tidy.

  3. One piece with the ground

Madison Square Garden is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Madison Square Garden takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Madison Square Garden

Madison Square Garden, also called the Garden or MSG, is an indoor arena for many kinds of events in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. It occupies the blocks between Seventh and Eighth avenues, from 31st to 33rd streets, on top of Pennsylvania Station. This is the fourth venue to carry the name. The first two, which opened in 1879 and 1890, stood on Madison Square, and the third, from 1925, stood at Eighth Avenue and 50th Street, farther uptown.

The current Garden opened on February 11, 1968, where the old Pennsylvania Station had stood, and was first called Madison Square Garden Center. Events range from concerts, circuses and ice shows to boxing, wrestling and mixed martial arts. The New York Rangers of the NHL and the New York Knicks of the NBA play their home games there. Of the major sporting facilities in the New York metropolitan area, the Garden is the oldest. It is also the NBA's oldest arena and the NHL's second oldest, behind Seattle's Climate Pledge Arena.

The building was among the first of its kind put up above the platforms of a working railroad station. It was renovated in 1991 and again in 2013, and with those two projects included the total construction cost came to roughly US$1.1 billion, placing it among the ten most expensive arenas ever built. The public outcry over tearing down the old Pennsylvania Station led to the founding of New York City's Landmarks Preservation Commission.
