Make this print opens the generator on a 800 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. The star of petals

The petals drop in steep triangles round the dome, with open notches between them and a lattice behind. Print friendly adapts the thinnest of these parts; a larger print keeps the notch frames clear.

  2. Ring round the opening

A slim raised ring follows the oval roof opening and stands as the highest line of the model. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep that lip crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Solidarnost Samara Arena is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Solidarnost Samara Arena takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Solidarnost Samara Arena

The Solidarnost Samara Arena goes by other names too: the Samara Arena and Cosmos Arena. Samara, in Russia, is its home, and in 2018 it hosted matches of the FIFA World Cup. The Russian Premier League club FC Krylia Sovetov Samara plays there, in place of Metallurg Stadium. The ground holds 44,918 spectators, and Samara's authorities announced a design tender in late 2012 with the cost estimated at $320 million.

The building is known for a metal dome inspired by space exploration that covers the whole ground, held from below by beam-like structures and reading from outside as a star or spacecraft, with a very slight curve and an almost flat top. An elliptical foundation carries two tiers of seats, all of them under the roof, and the stands are heated. The roof is assembled from 32 cantilevers on pyramidal legs 21.4 m high.

At about 330 m across, the stadium is wider than the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, and its height is 60 m. The stadium sits in the north-western quarter of Samara, on the highest ground in the city, with Dalnyaya Street, Arena 2018 Street and Moskovskoye Highway nearby. UEFA rates it as a Category Four stadium, its top category.
