Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. An oval, low model

The stadium is broad and low, so the oval outline is the main feature. Print it larger to keep the curve even, and set layers to 0.12 to 0.16 mm.

  2. One piece with the ground

Stadio Flaminio is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Stadio Flaminio takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Stadio Flaminio

Along the Via Flaminia in Rome, three kilometers northwest of the center and 300 meters from the Parco di Villa Glori, lies the Stadio Flaminio. Its rooms include a covered swimming pool, along with spaces for fencing, boxing, weightlifting, amateur wrestling and gymnastics. Pier Luigi Nervi and his son, the architect Antonio Nervi, designed it in 1957–1958, and it opened in 1959.

The stadium rose on the site of the Stadio Nazionale PNF and served the 1960 Summer Olympics, where it hosted the football final; football was its main use. Italy's rugby union side then used it for Six Nations home matches from 2000 to 2011, with room for 32,000 spectators, 8,000 of them under cover, the smallest ground in the competition. Years of abandonment have left it in an advanced state of decay, and a Getty Foundation grant in 2017 paid for work on a conservation plan.
