16 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 700 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Arched details on the wall
A row of small arched recesses runs around the lower wall. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on larger prints or with a fine nozzle.
- Smooth ring, open middle
The stadium is a wide ring around an open field, with a smooth sloping bowl inside. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep that slope clean, and a larger print shows the bowl and rim more clearly.
- One piece with the ground
Yankee Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Yankee Stadium takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Yankee Stadium
Yankee Stadium is a baseball stadium in the Bronx, New York City, where Major League Baseball's New York Yankees play. It opened in April 2009 and replaced the original Yankee Stadium, which operated from 1923 to 2008. It stands in the Bronx's Concourse neighborhood on the former site of Macombs Dam Park, a 24-acre (9.7 ha) plot a block to the north of the old stadium's location. Among the 30 major league ballparks, only four have a larger seating capacity.
Populous designed the stadium to echo the original, down to the exterior and the trademark frieze, while adding larger spaces and modern amenities. About 11,000 limestone pieces from Indiana, plus granite and pre-cast concrete, make up the exterior, and the limestone comes from the quarry that supplied the Empire State Building. Seating spreads outward in a bowl instead of the stacked tiers of the old stadium, and about two-thirds of it is in the lower bowl. The stadium seats 46,537 fans, and up to 52,325 when standing room is counted for baseball games.
Construction began with a groundbreaking on August 16, 2006. Of its $2.3 billion cost, $1.2 billion came from public subsidies, and few stadiums have cost more. The Yankees won the 2009 World Series in their first season there, and the World Series came back to the stadium in 2024. Its other events include college football, among them the annual Pinstripe Bowl, and concerts.
