62 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Keep the facade grid clear
The tall rectangular shaft has a fine grid across its faces. Choose a larger print with Full detail to retain more of that pattern, and use 0.12–0.16 mm layers for crisp detail along the height.
- Preserve the rooftop grooves
A smaller rectangular block caps the tower, with narrow grooves visible on its roof. Print friendly adapts those small details for a compact print; a larger print with Full detail keeps more of the roof pattern.
- One piece with the ground
19 Dutch is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. 19 Dutch takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About 19 Dutch
19 Dutch is a residential tower in the Financial District of Manhattan, New York City. The skyscraper reaches 231 meters (758 feet), with 63 stories, and was completed in 2019. Carmel Partners developed the project, while GK+V provided the building's architectural design. SLCE Architects served as architect of record. Alongside its residential accommodation, the building includes retail premises on several of its lowest floors. That retail area covers approximately 8,100 square feet within the tower's lower levels.
Carmel Partners began offering 97 affordable apartments for lease in February 2018. That leasing milestone came before the skyscraper's completion in 2019. A later chapter in the property's history involved its proposed sale: Carmel placed 19 Dutch on the market during 2022. In July 2022, Amancio Ortega agreed to buy the building. The founder of Zara used his holding firm, Pontegadea, for the purchase agreement, which put the price at about $500 million.
