About 200 West Street
Goldman Sachs, the investment banking firm, has its global headquarters at 200 West Street, in Manhattan's Battery Park City neighborhood. The building rises 228 m (749 ft) over 44 stories on West Street, between Vesey Street and Murray Street, in Lower Manhattan. The World Trade Center, the Verizon Building, the Conrad Hotel and Brookfield Place all stand close by. No other office building in Battery Park City stands north of Brookfield Place, and the tower is the neighborhood's tallest building.
Pei Cobb Freed & Partners' Henry N. Cobb designed the skyscraper, with Adamson Associates Architects. Work started in 2005, once city and state officials had given Goldman Sachs large subsidies for the project, and workers began moving in late 2009. It was finished a year later, having cost $2.1 billion. The building has a bulky base, a slab-like tower, three setbacks on the higher floors and a facade of glass and stainless steel. Its western facade, facing the Hudson River, curves because zoning rules required that the World Financial Center keep its views toward the Hudson River.
A covered pedestrian walkway beside the building is nicknamed "Goldman Alley", although its official name is the North End Way. It is 30 feet (9.1 m) wide, holds stores and restaurants, and has a slanted canopy of glass and metal by Preston Scott Cohen. Inside, artist Julie Mehretu created a mural measuring 80 by 23 feet (24 by 7 m) in 2009. Environmental features include low-flow plumbing, a green roof and an "ice farm" made up of 92 storage tanks and five chillers, and the building received LEED gold certification.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |
|---|---|---|
| 160 mm default | 61 mm | 1:3,750 |
| 200 mm | 77 mm | 1:3,000 |

- Curved face and setbacks
- The tower has one curved face and a few stepped setbacks on its upper floors. A larger print keeps these steps readable, and 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers keep their edges crisp.
- Window bands and roof details
- Narrow window bands cover every face, and the flat roof carries small equipment shapes. Print friendly adapts these small details to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on larger prints.
- One piece with the ground
- 200 West Street is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. 200 West Street takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

Common questions
Is there a 200 West Street STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. 200 West Street grows with the print: about 61 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
