Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Narrow tower between neighbors

The tower has a slim footprint and is boxed in by taller buildings on several sides. A larger print size keeps its narrow faces and rows of windows readable.

  2. Rooftop equipment

The flat roof carries small units. Print friendly merges the smallest ones at print scale; Full detail keeps them, best on a larger print.

  3. One piece with the ground

450 Park Avenue is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. 450 Park Avenue takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About 450 Park Avenue

Also known as the Franklin National Bank Building, 450 Park Avenue is a Midtown Manhattan office tower on Park Avenue, in the block from East 56th Street to East 57th Street. It rises 33 floors, 390 feet (120 m) in all. Black granite and glass dominate the exterior, over a steel skeleton with concrete floors. Emery Roth & Sons designed it and Peter Sharp developed it. A privately owned public plaza with benches adjoins the tower.

The building has changed hands several times. Taconic Investment Partners bought it in June 2002 and spent around $13 million on lobby work, new elevators and redesigned public areas. Somerset Partners paid $509 million for it in June 2007, a rate of $1,566 per square foot that, at the time, was the most paid per square foot for an office building in the United States. In February 2014 Crown Acquisitions and Oxford Properties bought it for $545 million.
