5 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Round corner tower
The round tower has a ringed crown and small arched openings. A larger print and a 0.12–0.16 mm layer height keep the crown and arches crisp.
- Small arched details
Rows of small arched windows and ornament cover the walls. At the default size the model is only a few millimeters tall, so "Print friendly" adapts these details to the print scale.
- One piece with the ground
The 75th Police Precinct Station House is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The 75th Police Precinct Station House takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the 75th Police Precinct Station House
This historic police station in New Lots, Brooklyn, New York, is the 75th Police Precinct Station House, built in 1886. It has three stories of yellow brick above a sandstone foundation and watertable, and its design follows the Romanesque Revival style.
A round tower marks one corner, and the main entrance has a projecting portico inspired by Norman design. The station house and its two-story brick stable are joined by a one-story brick passage. In 1973 it stopped being a police station, and a local church later used it. In 2007 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
