About 88 Greenwich Street
Also called the Greenwich Club Residences, and once known as 19 Rector Street, 88 Greenwich Street occupies the south side of Rector Street in Manhattan's Financial District, between Greenwich and Washington Streets. Lafayette A. Goldstone and Alexander Zamshnick designed the 37-story Art Deco structure, which was built in 1929–30.
An entrance to the Rector Street subway station opened in the basement in 1931, but it was shut by 1941. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places during 2002, and in 2006 it was renovated into residential condominiums. Hurricane Sandy flooded it severely in 2012: about three million cubic feet of saltwater poured into the basement and did extensive damage, and the water also dislodged an oil tank, which cracked when it struck a ceiling beam.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

- Stepped Art Deco crown
- The top of the tower narrows in several steps. Print friendly adapts these small setbacks to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on larger prints.
- Tight among taller towers
- Bigger buildings press in on most sides, and the tower can be hard to pick out from the west. A larger print size keeps its outline distinct.
- One piece with the ground
- 88 Greenwich Street is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. 88 Greenwich Street takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
