Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Louvered vents on the tower

The square tower has narrow louvered vents and small details at its top. Print friendly adapts these small details to the print scale; Full detail keeps them as modeled, best with a larger print.

  2. A small church among blocks

The church is small next to the surrounding blocks, so a larger print size helps its tower and buttresses read clearly. A 0.12 mm layer height keeps the fine edges crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

Calvary Baptist Church, Ossining is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Calvary Baptist Church, Ossining takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Calvary Baptist Church, Ossining

Calvary Baptist Church began as St. Paul's Episcopal Church and sits on St. Paul's Place in the village of Ossining, New York. The Gothic Revival stone building is considered Westchester County's best preserved early example of its style, and few other works by the architect Calvin Pollard remain in the state. In 1978 the church and the rectory across the street were entered in the National Register of Historic Places. Finished in 1835, it is the village's oldest house of worship.

The New York City architect Calvin Pollard designed it after the congregation bought its lot in 1834 from a wealthy local lawyer, Richard Austin. Inmates at nearby Sing Sing Prison quarried the marble. The walls are rough-cut Sing Sing marble, and smooth stone forms the trim. Buttresses mark every corner, a square bell tower stands at the front, and inside are exposed wooden roof trusses and a large pointed chancel arch.

A chancel was added to the rear in 1859, the rectory across the street followed in 1864, and a spire crowned the bell tower from 1870. Weather damaged the spire in 1951 and it was removed. The Episcopalians then moved to a new church, and Calvary bought the vacant building in 1958.
